Tails of Love Rescue is a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, well-being and future of the reservation dog.

Most of our founding volunteers worked on or near the White Mountain Apache Indian Hospital. After seeing the condition of the starving dogs who would come to the hospital begging for handouts, they knew something had to be done and formed a coalition that would meet to discuss what could be done to help these animals in need. They quickly became aware of others with the same goal in mind and formed Tails of Love Rescue.

We currently have volunteers who regularly feed homeless dogs on the reservation as well as those who actively remove, rehabilitate and foster dogs who need intervention (i.e. they will undoubtedly die without removal from their current environment.)
