How do I adopt one of your rescues?

We currently don’t have an adoption application. Direct inquiries can be made by emailing us here paws@tailsofloverescue.com or direct messaging us on our FACEBOOK PAGE.

What is the adoption fee?

Because we are in our infancy and setting up our non-profit, we are currently only asking for donations only when it comes to adoptions. As we are just getting started, adopters are asked to take on much of the costs associated with adopting these dogs/puppies and we greatly appreciate anyone that has it in their heart to step up and give these special dogs a forever home. Adopted dogs will require vet checks and in many cases vaccinations and special care, depending on the dog and their needs. When you’re inquiring about a specific dog or puppy, you will be briefed on what has and has not been provided.

Where can I view your adoptable dogs/puppies?

Follow us on Facebook for current adoptable rescues.

How can I become a Tails of Love Rescue foster home?

You must be able to provide a safe environment, food and supplies for either dogs or puppies. You can limit your fosters to who you can reasonably provide for. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact us here:
paws@tailsofloverescue.com.

Do you spay/neuter your rescues?

We require that every animal is spayed or neutered. Sometimes we may require this be done by the foster parent or adopter unless medically they are deemed unfit for surgery because it poses a danger to their life. Since our funds are limited at the moment, we do not provide the spay/neuter unless it is a special case.

Do you take in other animals in need?

At this time, we only focus on the reservation dog due to our tight resources. We don’t accept any other types of animals or dogs outside of the Apache Indian Reservation. If you are looking for a no-kill rescue in the Show Low, AZ area and do not have a reservation dog/puppy, we suggest contacting Pet Allies.

Are you a non-profit/501C3 and is my donation tax-deductible?

We are currently working toward this status and completing all the federal and state requirements.
NOTE: We are currently setting up our 501C3 non-profit status. Your donation is tax-deductible for 1 year prior to when we get our non-profit status. We will announce when our status is completed. ALL DONATIONS go directly to helping these animals in need.

I have pet food, medications, kennels, etc. to donate. Where can I donate?
