You've Got Questions? We've Got Answers...
How do I adopt one of your rescues?
Direct inquiries can be made by emailing us at paws@tailsofloverescue.com or direct messaging us on our FACEBOOK PAGE. You can view adoptable animals on our Facebook page. We have regular adoption events you can attend, or we can set up a meet-and-greet with the animal you're interested in. You will be provided with an adoption application and contract.
What is the adoption fee?
Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations including rabies, and a microchip. Our regular adoption fee is $200. However, older dogs and cats, or special adoptions, are less. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us for a specific fee for the particular pet you're looking to adopt.
Where can I view your adoptable dogs/puppies?
Follow us on Facebook for current adoptable rescues.
How can I become a Tails of Love Rescue foster home?
You must be able to provide a safe environment, food and supplies for either dogs or puppies. You can limit your fosters to who you can reasonably provide for. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact us here:
paws@tailsofloverescue.com.
Do you spay/neuter your rescues?
We require that every animal is spayed or neutered.
Do you take in other animals in need?
While we focus on the reservation dog, in special circumstances, we help here on the Mountain, especially in cases of hoarding. However, we do not have a kennel or building for immediate intake of animals. We work with a foster network and require available fosters for intake.
Are you a non-profit/501C3, and is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, we are, and your donations are tax-deductible. EIN 84-3701877
