How do I adopt one of your rescues?

View our adoptable pets Here or on our Facebook. Then fill out an Adoption Application. If approved, you will be contacted for a meet & greet or we may invite you to meet the pet at the next adoption event. The process includes a contract and an adoption fee.

What is the adoption fee?

Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations including rabies, and a microchip. Our adoption fee for dogs under one year of age is $200. Adult dogs are $100, and cats/kittens are $50.

How can I become a Tails of Love Rescue foster home?

Fill out a foster application Here. You must be able to provide a safe environment until your foster is adopted, and attend a minimum of 2 adoption events a month. All supplies are provided to you, including food and medical care if needed. Other animals in the home should be up-to-date on vaccinations and friendly towards other animals.

Do you spay/neuter your rescues?

We schedule our spay/neuters at a minimum of 6 months of age for both dogs and cats. The rabies vaccination and microchip are provided at the time of alteration.

Do you take in other animals in need?

While we focus on the reservation dogs, in special circumstances, we help here on the Mountain, especially in cases of hoarding. However, we do not have a kennel or building for immediate intake of animals. We work with a foster network and require available fosters for intake.
